Sandy and I are saddened to announce that, due to various personal circumstances, we will be permanently closing our B&B operations effective September 15, 2026. Until that time, we are committed to fulfill our obligations to current bookings but we will be unable to accommodate any new reservations. We are very sorry for this, as we have had such fantastic support from the local Kemptville and Oxford Mills communities, from the wider North Grenville, from our guests, and from the many friends and supporters that have been so encouraging to us since we started this adventure. Thank you all so very much for your support.
The Facebook page and this Website will remain open until Sept 15, after which they will be closed.

Your hosts are Sandy and Doug Wiemer. Sandy and Doug have had a desire to open a traditional B&B in eastern Ontario for many years, finally having the opportunity since purchasing this property in May 2020. They are passionate about warmly welcoming their guests and providing top quality accommodations and service. They are excited to share the possibilities of the North Grenville region with their guests, including the frequent festivals and many wilderness walking trails that populate the region.
This 1830s century stone home is located near the popular festival centre of Merrickville and local walking, biking, skiing trails of Marlborough, Limerick and Ferguson Forests. Fine dining available in the historic local town of Oxford Mills. A short drive to Kemptville restaurants and other amenities. Easy drive to Ottawa to the north and 1000 Islands region to the south.
Beautifully appointed Dining Room, Parlour and Library with large exterior deck and patio areas for guest use, including Hot Tub, above ground Swimming Pool and Fire Pit. Take a walk through the budding berry fields and vegetable gardens.
All rooms have private ensuite bathrooms, streaming TV, internet access, and Nespresso coffee maker, with in-room controlled heat and air conditioning. Free onsite parking.
The property has been extensively renovated with modern upscale comfort while retaining the unique charm of this 1830s century home.

Breakfast Service: Standard Breakfast is available from 7:30AM to 9:30AM.
Continental and buffet with Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten friendly options available with with advance notice.
Specialty Breakfast options are available by submitting the Breakfast Booking Card by 8PM the previous evening.
Welcome refreshments are served on arrival.
